Paris

Gertrude Stein said "America is my country and Paris is my hometown." I feel a bit that very same way, delusional as it may be. I want to say thank you all for making a trip to my hometown so wonderful. What was even more pleasurable was sharing my vacation with three wonderful, strong, intelligent, beautiful women. I'm sure we all had our own unique memories but there were moments that were undeniably woven together with multicolored strips of laughter, wrapped in circumstance, then sealed in time, I will never forget this trip. Emerson said "Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." I believe that those five days created a beauty that I will carry with me for a long time. So again, I would like to say I could not have done this trip without any of you; your spontaneity could not have been more appreciated. You know Julius Caesar conquered Pontus in just 5 days, so why not Paris "Veni, Vidi, Vici" - Kelly

One last quote:

"Every city has a sex and an age which have nothing to do with demography. Rome is feminine. So is Odessa. London is a teenager, an urchin, and, in this, hasn't changed since the time of Dickens. Paris, I believe, is a man in his twenties in love with an older woman." -John Berger
